Mad Learning Lab builds lean evaluation and learning systems for nonprofits: the kind a busy program manager can run on a Tuesday afternoon, and a board chair can read in five minutes.

We started in 2025 to help nonprofits build evaluation capacity that fits them, and to host the conversations that capacity depends on. Honest evaluation starts with honest talk about what's working, what isn't, and what you're really trying to change. We make room for those conversations, then build the systems that carry the answers forward.

We've built a bench of trustworthy practitioners across the realms of nonprofit management. When your needs run past evaluation, we bring in people who hold the same bar we do. You get one relationship and a whole team behind it.

Our work is research-grounded and time-honest. We bring the rigor of formal methods and the practicality that comes from years inside nonprofits, knowing what actually works. While much of the field races to scale, we'd rather go deep with a few organizations and build something that lasts.

When we leave, the work stays.
